About Me
Hello! I specialize in collaborative talk therapy, supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and stress from major life transitions. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My goal is to foster a positive therapeutic relationship and to work side-by-side with you to find effective solutions to obstacles in life that are universal to us all. I use a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Dialectical Behavioral therapy. I utilize these evidence-based practices in a way that is tailored to your unique needs and goals.
Education & Training
I earned my master’s degree in trauma-focused treatment from Boston College. My professional journey includes extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including work at McLean Hospital and Walden Behavioral Care, where I helped a diverse group of individuals navigate a path to stability, self-love and peace. For the past two years, I have worked as a crisis psychotherapist in emergency departments whilst working as an individual psychotherapist at Changing Sails.
My Approach
I’m dedicated to creating a supportive and safe space where we can work together to set and achieve your goals. My focus is on understanding your core beliefs and values, helping to align them with your goals with the hopes of ushering in balance and peace in your life. By exploring the internal factors that influence your progress, we can make positive, meaningful changes together as a team.
